Airplanes

"There will never be a bigger plane built." -- A Boeing engineer, after the first flight of the 247, a twin engine plane that holds ten people.

[The Airbus 380 "superjumbo" jet, can carry up to 555 passengers (when configured for three classes of seating). Its wingspan stretches nearly the length of a football field—50 feet (15 meters) wider than any commercial plane in the air today.]
